What is the Magic Quadrant?
The Magic Quadrant is a graphical
representation of a marketplace at and for a specific
time period (in this case, IT Event Correlation and
Analysis from July 2008 to July 2009). It depicts Gartner's
analysis of how certain vendors measure against criteria
for that specific marketplace, as defined by Gartner.
Why did Gartner, Inc. choose
Tango/04 to be part of its Magic Quadrant for IT Event
Correlation and Analysis?

Agent
Coverage

for its "Good breadth of coverage with specific
agents that provide granular depth for monitoring databases
and business applications, and can also integrate with
other vendors' agents." *
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Extended
Usability
Tango/04's VISUAL Message Center
received good comments for being "more often used
for BSM, rather than for infrastructure- or component-focused
ECA" and for having extended its usability "beyond
BSM to business process monitoring and service-level
management." *

Real-Time
Control
Among Tango/04's strengths, Gartner,
Inc. highlighted its capacity to present "a real-time,
dynamic calculation of the business impact cost of a
component incident to the operator to better prioritize
support resources, without the need to define weights
or costs for each component."*

|
|
|
|

Integrated
Monitoring
The information technology research
and advisory company highlighted how "Tango/04
gets credit for strong strategy and vision relative
to security event integration, with many production
deployments already incorporating SIEM."*

this positioning mean to Tango/04?
The Gartner positioning is a highly
valued recognition for all the work and effort that
we've been doing for years and for our perseverance
in pursuing the goal we defined the day we started to
walk this path: to be the best monitoring company in
the world.
Companies from all around the
globe, from different sectors and industries, acknowledge
and value our solutions, and now an important information
technology research and advisory company has joined
in this recognition.
