A jury of
technical editors and experts has recognized two Tango/04
products with the Editor’s Choice Apex Awards 2004.
VISUAL Message Center
has won in the Systems Management category, while VISUAL
Control LPAR Tuner has won in Operations. VISUAL
Security Suite was finalist in the Security category.
Tango/04 is the only software vendor whose products were
chosen finalist in 3 different categories of the Editor’s
Choice awards, and also the only winner in 2 of them. |

Tango/04 Computing
Group has been an IBM All Star PartnerWorld for Developer
since 1997, thanks to the international success and recognized
quality and innovation of products like VISUAL
Control Center, VISUAL
Debugger for Windows and VISUAL
Message Center. Being an IBM All Star gives Tango/04
a direct technical liaison with IBM’s developers,
including the IBM Rochester iSeries development center.
Tango/04 also receives IBM operating system code early
releases in order to ensure compatibility and optimization
for each major new release. As an All Star partner, IBM
has cooperated with Tango/04 in a number of technical
and marketing initiatives. |

Computing Initiative, 2002

Tango/04 is also a founding member of IBM´s Autonomic
Computing Initative. This initiative aims to create
technologies that make IT systems self-configuring,
self-healing, self-optimizing and self-protecting, is
IBM’s response to the increasing complexity and
diversity of IT systems. As a project member, Tango/04
works closely with IBM to complement their self-managing
system functionality.
