Tango/04 invites you to get to know Tango/04 eChannel, our new online training and communication service, with which we will keep you up to date with the latest developments in information technology and present you with the new technologies that emerge from our R&D Laboratories in Barcelona.

Tango/04 eChannel uses WebEx Event Center technology to bring you Tango/04 product seminars, trainings and updates straight to your desktop. In addition you will find expert and industry leader opinions and you can ask our team of professionals any questions you may have.

All you need to enjoy Tango/04 eChannel content is an Internet connection, a PC with sound capabilities and the desire to participate in our surveys and live chats.

How do I find out about upcoming events?

  • Subscribe to our electronic newsletters on our web site www.tango04.com/enews or send an email to subscriptions@tango04.net
  • You will receive invitations by email to our upcoming Web seminars
  • You can also consult our Events Page www.tango04.com/events from time to time
  • If you wish, you can add our Tango/04 eChannel portal http://tango04echannel.webex.com to you list of bookmarks. You can configure your language preferences and time zone in the menu on the left.

How do I sign up for an Event?

  • When you find an event you are interested in or you receive an invitation for an event you would like to attend, click the corresponding link. Your browser will be redirected to the portal http://tango04echannel.webex.com
  • Click the Enroll button and complete the application form with a valid email address.
  • You will receive an email confirming your enrollment and two reminders for the event: the first one 24 hours in advance and the second reminder 15 minutes before the start of the event
  • These emails contain the link and password for the event. Store them in a safe place.
  • The emails come with a VCF file attachment. This is an Outlook appointment containing the event details. If you open it and save it on your computer Outlook will also remind you when it is time to join the session.

How do I join an event?

  • 15 minutes before the start of an event, click the link in the confirmation or reminder emails you have received. Your browser will be directed to the web page of the event.
  • Introduce your first name, surname, the email address you used in your application and the password provided in the confirmation or reminder email. Click the enter button to continue.
  • WebEx will ask you for permission to install the required WebEx Event Manager software on your PC. The software does not pose any security risk and does not transmit personal information.
  • The installation may take a few minutes, depending on your connection speed. Please do not close your browser window during the installation.
  • Upon completion of the installation, the WebEx Event Manager interface will appear on your screen with the details of the seminar.
  • A message appears inviting you to join an Internet conference. You should accept this invitation to receive the sound of the presentation.
  • A few minutes before the start of the event we will do a few sound checks so that you can make sure your equipment is functioning correctly.

How do I participate in the event?

  • Throughout the session you can make comments in the "Chat" window and ask questions to the speaker and members of the panel using the "Question and Answer" window.
  • While the presentation is in full screen size you can open the "Chat" and "Question and Answer" windows using the buttons located at the bottom left of your screen.
  • All questions of the participants will be answered at the end of the session.
  • When the event is over and you close the session, an evaluation form will appear which you can use to send us your feedback of the event.

Technical advice

  • You should have Java installed on your PC. If you do not have Java yet, you can download it from www.java.com
  • We recommend you use only Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or superior.
  • Remember to deactivate any pop up window blocker you may have installed with your browser.
  • When asked if you want to install WebEx Event Manager, please accept the installation. It does not imply any security risk and does not use any of your personal data.
  • Before you get started make sure there is no firewall that will block the download and that your Windows user profile allows you to install the software (you must have administrator privileges).
  • Test your Internet connection speed (it should be a minimum of 56k).
  • Check that your audio system is working (speakers or headset)
