Answer
If you want to use sudo with the VMware Operations ThinAgents, following these steps:
Step 1. Add the following line to the /etc/sudoers file:
username ALL=NOPASSWD:/usr/bin/esxtop
Step 2. Change the username to the target user. The ALL value may be changed to the server name only.
